Giving to Neuroscience

Giving to the School of Neuroscience
The School of Neuroscience greatly appreciates any contributions, big or small, that help support our program. Founded in 2016, the School of Neuroscience is now one of the largest neuroscience programs in the nation. In additional to nearly 800 undergraduate students, we have a thriving Neuroscience PhD program.
Your generosity will enhance our undergraduate student experiences, undergraduate research, support graduate stipends, and ensure continued growth. Examples of how donated dollars are utilized:
Since our inception, donated dollars have funded nearly 100 undergraduate summer research fellowships, a program we call SURFn (Summer Undergradute Research Fellowships in Neuroscience). This program supports 10 weeks of an immersive summer research experience for our students at VT. This programs impact on our students is demonstrated by the high success rate of SURFn students to matriculate into the strongest PhD programs across the country.
Donation dollars also enable our students to present their research at national research conferences and symposia.
Donation dollars have helped to support our undergraduate students participate in the neuroscience study abroad program who otherwise lack the finances to participate.
Furthermore, contributions allow us to establish scholarships for Neuroscience students who exemplify merit and/or are in need of financial aid.
100% of each donation goes back towards our students and strengthening our program. You can chose how your donation dollars are utilized, or you can contribute to our general fund.
