"What-If DARS" Report

A DARS is a computer generated report for undergraduate students that matches the requirements of a degree program with a student's completed coursework. Neuroscience Students can run a “what-if” DARS for the major they desire to enter.

Run a “what-if” degree audit

Used to explore majors and to see how courses you've received credits for fit into the requirements for that particular major.  A “what-if” degree audit will automatically place courses in the appropriate requirement area...such as CLE’s.  

  • Log onto Hokie SPA
  • Click Hokie Spa
  • Click Degree Menu
  • Click Undergraduate Student Degree Menu
  • Click Degree Audit Report Menu
  • Click Request a “What-If” Degree Audit Report
  • Select your Intended Major
  • Select Degree
  • Select Graduation Term
  • Click Run Analysis
  • Once complete: Click View Link
  • The Degree Audit will open in new window
  • Click Open All Sections
  • Scroll down

Request a DARS Report

Once you have applied for your degree, you can check your DARS to see what you've done and what you're missing.

  • Log onto Hokie SPA
  • Click on  Degree Menu
  • Click on  Undergraduate Degree Menu  or  Associate Degree Menu
  • Click on  Degree Audit Report Menu
  • Click on  Request a Degree Audit
  • Select the appropriate degree program from the drop down menu
  • Click  Run Audit
  • Click  View Submitted Audits
  • If your audit does not appear click  Refresh the list until it appears
  • Click on the link to the DARS
