Preview Day

Preview Day is a special event tailored for prospective undergraduate students and their families. It offers an in-depth introduction to our academic programs, facilities, resources, and the vibrant community within the School of Neuroscience. These events are sometimes scheduled on the Friday or Monday that coincides with Virginia Tech’s Open House weekends. Preview Days are offered on a limited basis and may not be available each semester. Please reach out to the contact person listed below to confirm current availability.

Attendees can expect a variety of engaging activities, including:

  • Program overviews led by faculty and staff

  • Informal meet-and-greet sessions with faculty and advisors over refreshments

  • Mock lectures and immersive classroom experiences

  • “Ask Me Anything” (AMA) sessions with academic advisors

  • Guided campus tours by our student ambassadors, with a special focus on neuroscience-specific facilities and resources
