The School of Neuroscience proudly celebrated the inauguration of its new home, Sandy Hall. Among the highlights: we welcomed faculty, staff, students, alumni, College of Science Dean Sally C. Morton, and Virginia Tech President Tim Sands and gave a tour of the new building.

Located along the Drillfield, the newly renovated Sandy Hall, has a variety of open seating arrangements known as the Neurocommons. This space also includes the ability to host regular speakers from the neuroscience field in a similar format of a TED talk. Additionally, Sandy Hall houses staff and faculty offices and upper-level neuroscience courses.
