Lorin Roemhildt elected as a VT Rescue Squad officer
Lorin Roemhildt, a School of Neuroscience senior student majoring in Clinical Neuroscience and Psychology, was elected Training Lieutenant officer for Virginia Tech Rescue Squad (VTRS) for the academic year 2019-20.
The Virginia Tech Rescue Squad (VTRS), currently in its 50th year, is the oldest collegiate rescue squad in Virginia. VTRS is entirely student-run and has 40 student-members who perform the same functions of a municipal rescue squad.
Along with responding to emergency calls, the squad provides emergency medical services at all major university and athletic events.
