Jonathan T. Hedrick

Jonathan Hedrick joined the Neuroscience team in 2018. He is responsible for School’s HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, strategic planning, employee relations, retention and recognition. He actively seeks to assist employees with all matters related to university working life. His goal is ensure every employee understands the impact they have advancing the mission and objectives of the School while simultaneously enjoying a rewarding career with Virginia Tech.  Jonathan holds a B.A (Communications) and a B.S. (Political Science) from Christopher Newport University, as well as, graduate degrees in Public and Business Administration from Virginia Tech. Working at the university for 8 years, he has served The Center for Public Administration and Policy, The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute and the Division of Human Resources Central Office and now The School of Neuroscience.
